Dude, you were surprised that you had video issues yet you were uploading picture, really? The only other comment I wanted to make was the for some reason the installer for the Mac has permissions issues if you just install it with recommended settings on a Mac book pro, you need to point it first to your desktop then drag it to your applications folder, asides from that finally a skype alternative pushing the technology.

I was hoping to jump on with you guys Saturday afternoon, but as soon as I sent you my ooVoo name, my son started getting bored with his crayons and I had to spring into daddy duties. Another time for sure.

I checked ooVoo out last year, while I was working at NASA. The issues with the Mac clients make it a less than ideal solution for the enterprise. I do think there's some good tech in there, it just needs to work cross platform.

Despite ooVoo's fast-growing userbase, as it currently stands there are no plans to introduce a subscription fee in the future.

Jane -- You're welcome. Now go get your Mac client and go crazy.

Scott -- You're certainly welcome. I hope ooVoo continues to improve. They certainly have a good deal going already.

Thanks for the writeup, Jason! I'm glad you've joined ooVoo and were able to give it a thorough try. As with any technology, there are some minor kinks, but ooVoo is committed to working through them and is listening to what's being said.

@Jane - the Mac version is available now. While it's not a parity with the PC version, it's much better than the alpha version that was used during the My ooVoo Day promotion.

See you on ooVoo!

I'm excited to use ooVoo for my clients once the Mac version gets released (Scott says it'll be soon!). I think these platforms are what will truly drive collaborative environments - especially in our field. Who will need any offices soon? We'll be able to work with the best people, not just in the area, but anywhere and think what it'll mean for our clients!

Thanks for showing this off!
