Right now, it is all about the technology and the message is feeling it out. Shortly though, the technology will become a commodity like print is today. And I think you're right about something else: a social media marketer must understand the tools. And that's different. When we used TV, Radio, Print, we didn't really need to know the tools, but we needed to understand the language. Now, it's just tools. Because an understanding of the tools, means an understanding of the language. I think you’re right about semantics.
