It's alright, nothing to write home about. No one puts interesting content into that network like they do in other areas - it is all fluff. There is definitely marketing value and value for brands, but from a content perspective as a tech-addict and avid reader, there's nothing for me there personally. I try to comment on people's status who I know from Twitter, or from college. I have not separated groups but that is a good idea, to just initiate contact to work on networking.
