I never thought about it that way. And of course, I do care about your comments. You do bring up an interesting topic of returning to the website to view a reply. Now I do wonder if Disqus and IntenseDebate are helping in bringing back commenters to follow up. What's your take on that? Do you return back to follow up on your comments if they were responded to?

I've heard so many good things about Disqus but I haven't been able to get them to show up in my Headway theme. They migrated from Typepad fine but they don't show. Also new comments won't show. I can see them inside the Disqus manager. I can't figure out what's going on so it's disappointing.

i think backtype is a little better a helping people keep track of how many comments they post and where they did but disqus looks better.

Trying to evaluate disqus- I'm a bit worried with the sheer number of spammy comments below that their filters aren't all that good. Comment managers to Comment search is like comparing apples to oranges. In fact, disqus uses backtype to power their Reactions service: “Now you can link up with the social web using Reactions, our feature that hooks into results from BackType.”

They seem to have taken two different routes to comment aggregation, with Disqus being more reliant on users logging into their system,cara meninggikan badan and Backtype being more dependent on its database of scan-worthy blogs.
