Ive been looking for a change of career and a friend of mine who works with Nestle said social media would be something i would be good at, so blogs like this has helped me a lot to get some insight in to what you do, yeah its not all glam, but that has never been my thing, its all about doing a job you love and with me i like interacting with people and really cool tech!! So how does one get a foot in? advise would be very appreciated!!

Tony

Nice post.

His demanding schedule, but it seems at least it comes to an end. I think it's important to take all the time-out of social media world every day to keep your sanity (mine).

The routine makes you describe this work a little more tangible to the outsiders. I think it makes sense to break things in detail to the customers so they understand exactly where your time and your money is being spent.

I'm sure some guys give you a copy of Wired magazine so far.

I enjoyed this post the first few times I read it, and now I'm enjoying the comments. Because, like you said, it's not all glamorous all the time.
