Jason, thanks for the glance at Buzz. I need to do this more for my clients and audiences as I know I like watching tutorials like this! Did you use Camtasia?
  • Actually used Jing, which is free. I'm upgrading to Camtasia soon, but Jing
does up to 5:00 free and its pretty neat.

Thanks Jason...I intend to use Camtasia, but I'm going to check our Jing too!
  • Great video, but I'm curious as to how you got your website/blog to import into buzz. Doesn't seem to be an option for that anywhere I can see.
  • Thanks for the tutorial. Appreciate the additional info about Google Buzz. I'm feeling a little more ready to incorporate in my social media life now that I'm aware of the intergration components.
  • Thanks for the comment, Erika. It's going to be a bit overwhelming at first.
I'm finally out of all day meetings and playing again. It's just a big
firehose with a lot of noise and no way to organize it. I would caution
everyone to follow a select group of people on Buzz just to keep the noise
    level down. Still playing.
  • I haven't had anything come into my inbox....I guess I'm lucky, lol. I would have to stop using Buzz if it starts to.
  • Thanks for the video, Jason :) You could create filters to hide Google Buzz from your inbox: http://lifehacker.com/5468067/hideremove-google...
  • Gracias!
  • You can kill Buzz out of your inbox (first thing I did) by creating a Filter for the words "label:buzz" and archiving them as they come in. Still show up under the Buzz menu, just not in your inbox.
  • Thanks, Bro! Glad you still read the SME!
  • Michael
Thanks for the overview. You can hide Buzz updates in your inbox by creating a filter by the way (move to archive where label:buzz).
  • Thanks. Figured that out when I had a second to do it.
  • Yst
    Thanks for the video!
  • You are welcome! Thanks for the comment.

Good video. Thanks for the tutorial. Brought me up to speed much quicker.
  • Glad to help out Scott.
  • Looking forward to using it....when I can get my head above water. Thanks for the tour! Will come in VERY handy, I'm sure.
  • You're welcome. We'll see you on the Buzz soon!
