Jason FallsSocial Media Explorer is authored by Jason Falls, Director of Social Media at Doe Anderson, one of the nation’s oldest and most accomplished brand-building agencies. He oversees social media and Internet marketing strategies for iconic brands such as Maker’s Mark and Knob Creek bourbons. Falls’s aggressive approach to social media produced innovative programs such as the Jim Beam Baja Twitter Tracker, a micro-blogging effort following Robby Gordon’s progress in the 2007 Baja 1000 in Mexico and Jim Beam’s Here’s To The Stuff Inside campaign (www.stuffinside.com) which has been noted as the first major social media-based effort of any spirits company. Falls also spearheaded “The Bill Blog,” the first known brand blog in the spirits industry authored by Bill Samuels Jr., and staff at Maker’s Mark.

A public relations professional by trade, Falls is a national speaker and commentator on the public relations industry. His focus on blogger relations and reactions to blogger frustrations with PR spam landed him several conference speaking engagements and talk radio guest appearances. He has presented at PRSA International, Blog World and New Media Expo, IABC World Conference, SOMESSO (London) and many more. He has also hosted several webinars and teleconferences including PRSA’s “The Art of Listening,” in December of 2008.
