This is a great post.  With social media you have to be able to relate personally with your followers.  The point that you mentioned about telling your story is the best way to do this.  It allows your followers to humanize your and connect with you and your brand on a much deeper level.

I do this quite frequently with my followers to let them know that I&#039;m just like them and I&#039;ve received many responses from people thanking me for doing so.  Your followers are more than just dollar signs, they&#039;re real people that have feelings too and they deserved to be treated like it.
