The Solution To Your Content Marketing Problems

by · November 16, 2010

In September, I put together a one-day summit on content marketing for the Social Media Club Louisville and local chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. We felt like content, perhaps the biggest need and most important component of a company’s social media efforts, was one area that businesses needed the most help with. We were right.

The docket that day featured Joe Pulizzi, Michael Schechter, Amy Mengel, Greg Cangialosi, Chris Baggott, Susan Gosselin and myself. Each of us covered a piece of content marketing or content generation. The feedback we got was astounding. Biggs Tabler, a good friend and business development pro for Blackstone Media in Louisville even said, “I have never received more value for time committed or money invested in a seminar. What a brilliant selection of topics and speakers!”

How Your Newsletter Can Transform Your Website

by · February 11, 2008

Like many business owners and executives, my friend Mike doesn’t understand social media. He also doesn’t understand the power of the web much more than to say the web is powerful. “I should have a website,” he thought a few years back. He didn’t want to ask for help or spend any money on it and got what he paid for. A few months later, he asked me to help him put up something that, “looked better than what I’ve got.”
