My Social Media 2011 TO BE List – What’s Yours?

by · January 7, 2011

Right now, you are probably walking around with some sort of list detailing the things you need to do, tasks you need to complete, and strategies you need to implement for the coming year.

To-Do lists are great for keeping us organized and helping us get through our busy days, but do they really help us accomplish creating the image, person, and character needed to run our business or live our lives more successfully?

5 Steps to Social Media Grieving

At some point in our engagement in the social media space we step out on a limb and push the buttons of those within the community. The push back of the community can be unbearable if you are not prepared.

It begins as a brilliant idea that sparks an emotional response. These emotions ignite a fire that spreads throughout the community.  With a comment on a blog, a stream of Twitter messages and even a video reply on YouTube the fires rage to what you thought was a good idea. Your good idea backfires and now you have to deal with the consequences of what happens when good ideas go astray.

Join Me In Twit2Fit – The Twitter Wellness Experiment

by · May 27, 2008

It started with an innocent Tweet.

JasonFalls Wife and I are discussing a family YMCA membership. Could it be that I might start exercising? Stay tuned …

And, after a couple of responses, I threw this out there:

JasonFalls If I, Mr. 275 pounds and no exercise since 1988, will commit to a consistent exercise program, I want 50 followers to do the same. Takers?

Never understimate the power of your Twitterati. As of 10 p.m. ET Monday night, just five hours after calling on takers, I counted 28 different folks who either said, “I’m in,” that they’re already involved in a fitness goal but are with me or wanted to lend support in some way. Several others chimed in to say, “You go!” or offer other insights or suggestions.
