Referral Candy Helps You Pay Those Who Recommend You
Referral Candy Helps You Pay Those Who Recommend You

Does your business have a customer referral program? What about one that is operated with slick online software that does a lot of the heavy lifting for you? No, I’m not talking about an affiliate program, per say. I’m talking about reaching out to customers of yours, offering them a discount coupon or offer to purchase from you to share with their friends, then paying that customer for passing on the referral.

Referral Candy is a platform that does just that. They’ve joined Social Media Explorer this week as a sponsor! W00t!

You can choose from a short list of e-commerce platforms to connect Referral Candy to. If yours is one of them (they offer Amazon Webstore, Big Cartel, Etsy and more), you drop some code, make your offers and forward successful sales invoices on to Referral Candy.

The offers seem to be sent via email, but what better way to get a pass-along recommendation that to send your customers the ability to share the value you provide with your product or service with their friends?

Give ’em a click over there on the sidebar and check ’em out. Can’t hurt. The only thing you’ve got to lose is potential customers, right?

  • I agree having a referral / affiliate program is one of the best ways to get more customers. My company OSI Affiliate Software http://www.osiaffiliate.com helps companies to setup and manage affiliate programs and the only thing I would suggest is once you get your affiliate program setup that you spend a lot of time promoting your referral program. You should let all of your customers know right away that you have an referral program as son as they sign up and also you should send them another email about 3 weeks after they sign up and ask them to check if anyone they referred as signed up, in case they have not really promoted you yet.

  • I do like this idea, interesting to see if it would help those small businesses who struggle to see the ROI benefits of social media. Could work as a bridge for them to be more active in social media.  I will definitely try it when I get my new magento store up and running.

  •  We do virtual assistant services and we try to give a good service at a low cost and with that all our clients are happy and that what we get as a reward and will try out giving things for our clients. Thanks for the share…
