Alright, this is just getting ridiculous.
For the first time in history, a presidential candidate has launched a national Snapchat filter in an all-too-transparent attempt to woo the millennial vote. From a marketing perspective, it makes sense right? Over 80% of Snapchat users are under the age of 34 after all. But could The Trump really make Snapchat great again?
Reality shows that this may have been one of the worst moves the Trump campaign could have come up with. The filter has instantly turned into the butt of the joke leaving many Millenials going as far as questioning whether they should delete Snapchat entirely. Talk about a backfire. Let’s see what the Internet is saying about this…
People are more than a bit upset…
glad to know snapchat will do anything for enough money. @snapchat can’t wait to see the new kkk filter, it’ll look great w the trump one !

Many users are threatening to delete Snapchat entirely for the blunder…
What the fuck @Snapchat?!? Why is there a Trump filter but not a Hillary one?!? Fix this now or I will delete you forever! #fuckedup

@Snapchat I’m about to delete your app because you let someone put a sexist trump filter on it :)

Annnnnd just general disappointment abound
I’m actually so ashamed in Snapchat for letting Donald Trump’s campaign sponsor a filter for tonight’s debate

Level of Petty: Donald Trump paying for a snapchat geofilter just to have another platform where he can call Hillary Clinton ‘crooked’

Woke up to a Trump vs. “Crooked Hillary” Snapchat filter for the first debate tonight. Am now irritated and going back to bed. HAPPY MONDAY.

The internet has spoken Donald, let’s hope you learn a lesson from this. Millenials have been bred since birth to see through pandering bullshit like this.
It’s going to take more than a Snapchat filter to win our vote.
